With traveling exhibitions, Discovery Center Museum is bringing its award-winning installations to destinations around the country. These interactive experiences have proven to be educational and fun for our Rockford location, so taking them on the road gives us a chance to share the fun.
Current exhibitions for rent include:
Team Up! Explore Science & Sports examines the science of sports through fifteen interactive components. Visitors can test their own skills in sports such as basketball, tennis, soccer, and football while learning about math and physics.

This traveling exhibit is based on one of the most popular permanent exhibits at the Discovery Center, located directly at our entrance. Here visitors can explore a dozen different interactive features that provide a hands-on taste of how our favorite amusement park rides work.
Available for rent beginning in 2007, this exhibit will sure to give your visitors a thrill ride they'll never forget!

Skaters, divers, and gymnasts speed up their spin by pulling their arms and legs in close. To slow down, they stretch out. This is because the farther away their weight is from the center of their spin, the more energy it takes to spin. Learn more about this concept in our Team Up! Exhibit.
