What do you do during a camp-in? Each camp-in includes Museum playtime in Discovery Center Museum, 2-3 activities, a planetarium show, an evening snack, a continental breakfast, and optional time to explore the Gift Shop.
What times do camp-ins start and finish? Check-in begins at 6:30 pm, and departure is at 8:30 am.
I have a child who is not comfortable/able to sleep away from home. Can we still attend a camp-in? Absolutely! Of course, we want our scouts to get the most out of their experience with us. However, we are more than happy to accommodate families that need to leave a camp-in before lights-out. Simply let our staff know about your request to leave early when you check in for your camp-in.
Where would we sleep during a camp-in? You would sleep right in our museum! Families and troops can spread out and choose which exhibit they would like to sleep in.

Is dinner provided? Dinner is not provided, though we do offer an evening snack. We recommend eating dinner before you arrive so you can be ready to play!
My child has special dietary needs or allergies. How do we share these with Discovery Center staff? We will send out a Google Form a few weeks before your camp-in, where you can provide allergy and dietary information. We cannot guarantee that we can accommodate all dietary requirements, but we will do our best to provide food that will be safe for your group.
Are tickets refundable? Camp-in tickets are not refundable unless there is an illness or personal emergency. However, you are free to give your ticket to another member of your group.
Do I need to pay for parking? No! Our parking lot is large and completely free.
